Travel Ready Checker is built privacy-first: the calculator runs entirely in your browser. The passport expiry date and destination you enter are never transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers.

Information we do not collect

• Passport numbers, names, or any identity document data
• The expiry dates or destinations you type into the calculator
• Any personal details beyond the email address of travellers who choose to create an optional account

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and Google's advertising services may receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view. Google and third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and limit the frequency of ads. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or other personally identifying information to Google as advertising identifiers. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, approximate region, device type). No analytics data is tied to your calculator inputs.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share personal data. When you use the share buttons, the text or image is generated on your device; clicking a Reddit or X link takes you to that platform, which has its own privacy policy.

Accounts

Most of the site works without an account. If you choose to create one, we store the email address you sign up with. Saved trips and saved calculations are stored against your account only when you deliberately save them, and you can delete them at any time.

How long we keep information

Anything you type into a checker exists only for as long as the page is open in your browser; closing or reloading the page discards it. Account data is kept while the account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your stored trips, calculations and profile record, keeping only what we are legally required to retain for billing and tax purposes.

Children

This site is intended for adults planning travel and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain processing. Because the checkers are anonymous, in most cases the only data we hold is an account email address. You can opt out of personalised advertising using the Google and industry links above, use your browser's cookie controls to block third-party cookies, and where a consent banner applies to your region you can change or withdraw your advertising choices at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a feature that handles data differently. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and we encourage you to re-read it before relying on a previous version.
